Characteristics of Mas Estela Quindals

Wine made in the northeastern Catalonia, in the Natural Park of Cap de Creus. Vineyards on mountain terraces of slate soil of dry wall.
Stripped and squeezed to 100%. Cold maceration. Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks for 2-3 weeks. Control of temperature 22 º. Ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels rest finishing the bottle.
Alcohol: 15.0ºC
Serve at 16ºC

Tasting notes Mas Estela Quindals

Sight Cherry color, intense and brilliant.
Nose Aromas of candied fruit, especially black, with hints of spice and minerals.
Taste Wine especially tasty. With good entry, with ripe tannins, ample. Meaty and powerful, which makes fruit and toasty notes. Long and persistent finish.
Sight Garnet with purple reflections, brilliant. Nose

Notes of red fruits, slightly spicy.

Taste

Good entry, width and volume. With good balance and soft tannins. Ending is long and persistent with aromatic notes.

Winery Mas Estela

The landscapes of the region of Empordà, in the northeast of Catalonia, are full of contrasts, due to the natural limits of the Pyrenees in the north and the Mediterranean Sea with the magnificent Costa Brava in the east. Thanks to these, the Empordà is a unique place, a special territory between the sea and the mountains, marked by the presence of the north wind known as Tramontana.
