Characteristics of Gramona Moustillant Blanc

For the development of the wine grape variety used Parellada. It's the grapes later in the maturation of the three indigenous varieties of Penedes. The collection was conducted in late September. It comes from the highest vineyards in the name: Pla de Manlleu, Pontons, Can Ferrer and Aigua Viva. Fermenting vinified at low temperatures, using only the flower and the grape juice resulting from a very soft pressing.
Alcohol: 10.5%
Serve at 7ºC

Sight

Brilliant pale green, small beads of CO2.

Nose

As a crystalline river, reminiscent of fresh white fruit and citrus touches presented in the form of Pomelo.

Taste

Its slight effervescence with us in his opening tonic, under a transparent accent, refreshing and very persistent recalling the final notes of white fruits. Completely dry.

Winery Gramona

Today, the D.O Penedès is experimenting with viticulture and winemaking like no other region in Spain, home to a vast range of different grape varieties. The region is home to traditional white and red varieties, foreign ones, noble ones, as well as those that demostrate instrisic qualities. As well as the grapes, the production techniques used are also worth noting, the location of the vineyards, the yields per hectare, the wines produced using traditional, original or even exclusive blends, the different ageing times, as well as the complexity of the different barrels used!  But the reality is, given the vast diversity, it can be difficult to pinpoint what really defines a wine from the Penedès, since there are so many types of wines and wineries in the region. However, there is one common denominator of the wines from Penedès, and that’s balance and quality.
