Characteristics of Fuchs de Vidal Unic Brut Nature

Fuchs de Vidal Unic Brut Nature is a cava produced by Capità Vidal.

This cava is a coupage of 50% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, 15% of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada. The production process refers to the Traditional Method or Champenoise method. This requires a second fermentation in the bottle. The first fermentation takes place when the must turns to wine. The grape varieties are vinified separately and, finally, there is an aging for 15 minutes.

Alcohol: 11.5%
Serve at 6ºC

Tasting notes Fuchs de Vidal Unic Brut Nature

Sight Bright golden colour with a slow release of small bubbles. Nose It possesses complex, dry and ripe fruit aromas. Taste On the palate it is a powerful cava, balanced and full of pleasant sensations.

Winery Capitá Vidal

Cava was born under the constant shadow of its French counterpart, Champagne. However, produced over 1,200km away and a gap of over 100 years, Cava was always going to be a completely different product, even if produced using the same method and and sometimes with the same varieties. Firstly the climate and soil have a profound impact on the yields, while the plant strains that thrive here and completely different to those in the Champagne region. Fortunately, as more winemakers are becoming convinced of this, they are producing Cavas with their own personality, showing off the art of the second fermentation in the bottle like no other wine region in the world.
