Casa de la Ermita Roble is a red wine from the D.O Jumilla produced by the winery Casa de la Ermita.

This winery is located in Jumilla, in the north of Murcia.
Casa de la Ermita Roble is produced from Monastrell and Petit Verdot, typical grapes from the region. The vines are planted at 700 meters above sea level in rocky soils which favours strong flavoured grapes.

For production, the wine is macerated for 3-5 days and subsequently fermented.

Casa de la Ermita roble is aged for 3 months in new 225l French oak barrels.

Sight Intense cherry colour with purple reflections. Clean and bright. Nose Pure and intense aromas. Predominance of red fruit combined with light roasted and spicy notes. Smooth mineral finish. Taste Very strong and fruity. Unctuous passing and embracing, highlights of red fruit. Very fresh and good acidity. Long finish.
Sight Vivid red cherry colour with violet edges. Clean and bright wine. Nose Clean aromas. Its abundant notes of red fruit are released along with the creamy aromas of wood, light herbal hints and spices on an elegant mineral background. Taste The fruit fills the mouth from the first plunge. Tasty and very fresh wine in which the fruit appears along with spicy and slightly toasted notes. Correct acidity and a good finish.

Winery Casa de la Ermita

DO Jumilla is located on a high plain in the eastern region of Spain, acting as a transition zone between the Mediterranean coastal area and the high central plateau of Castile-La Mancha. The vineyards of Jumilla are spread over the municipality of Jumilla, in Murcia, and six counties in the southeast of the province of Albacete: Ontur, Tobarra, Albatana, Hellin, Montealegre and Fuente Alamo. The main variety of the area is the Monastrell grape variety, a noble and robust variety which produces small bunches of small dark-coloured grapes very rich in sugars and other noble components.
