Malpaso 2010: New vintage of one of the breakthrough wines of 2013

In this post, we want to introduce you the new 2010 vintage of one of the most acclaimed wines by the critics and consumers last year.

We are referring to Malpaso 2010, a fantastic varietal wine made of Syrah grapes by the winery Bodegas Canopy, which comes endorsed by the overwhelming success obtained by its predecessor Malpaso 2008 (the winery did not produce the 2009 vintage) but also by the very high expectations placed in this new vintage.

Malpaso 2010 is one of the few wines made of 100% Syrah grapes currently in Spain. The grapes it is made of are as unusual as the designation of origin where it comes from: the D.O. Méntrida, a small vine-producing area still unknown by the general public despite of the great quality of the wines produced in many of its wineries.

It is impossible to know if this new vintage of Malpaso will win the same praises as its predecessor, although we can definitely state that we have obtained the same pleasant feelings while tasting this new vintage as when we tasted the 2008 vintage.

An original, complex and different wine. Powerful and nice and the same time, and of course, with a value (and pleasure) for money which extremely deserves to be taken into account, since it is being put on the market at a price of only 11 €.

What are you waiting for trying it?
