Pruno 2011, by the winery Finca Villacreces, has become once again one of the wines which has come out better of the Robert Parker’s scoring. Thus, reaffirming the fact that last year, Parker selected Pruno as the best Spanish wine whose price was under 20 dollars.
In this case, this wine has scored 93 points and such as the world guru literally states: Pruno 2011 is a “genuine bargain”.
The new vintage of this red wine from D.O. Ribera del Duero was produced from 20-year-old vines and it was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Clean, bright and with a dense tear, this wine shows a fresh and fruity nose, which gives way to an incredible range of nuances as it is opens in the glass.
In the mouth, it is a pleasure. Fleshy, intense and powerful wine. Spectacular!
