Dominio de Tares Cepas Viejas crowned wine of the year by the OCU

The wine Dominio de Tares Cepas Viejas, by the winery of the same name, has the honour of being crowned the best wine of 2014 in Spain, according to the OCU (Organizacion de consumidores y usuarios) guide 2014, a Spanish consumer organization.

We’re sure that the winery will be incredibly honoured to receive this award since unlike other prizes and awards in the wine sector; this award is chosen by consumers, the most important judge.

Dominio de Tares Cepas Viejas is made with mencía grapes from Bierzo from over 60 year old vines planted on slate slopes.

This wine is structured and very aromatic, yet also elegant, subtle and balsamic. A magnificent expression of the mencía variety.

An absolute must-buy at only €12.95. Not to be missed!
