Luis Gutiérrez, Robert Parker’s new taster for spanish, chilean and argentinian wines

The successor of Neal Martin and next responsible of Parker’s tasting and rating for Spanish wines, Chilian and Argentinian wines was announced yesterday by Lisa Perrotti-Brown, the director of  TWA (The Wine Advocate), the prestigious Northamerican publication founded by the influential Robert Parker.  The person chosen is Luis Gutiérrez, a writer and a journalist and a great wine lover with a long experience in the world of oenology and gastronomy.

Luis Gutiérrez cooperates with elmundovino.com and is also a member of its tasting club since its foundation. He cooperates with  Jancis Robinson‘s website and has published lots of articles and the book The Finest Wines of Rioja and Northwest Spain, along with victor de la Serna and Jesús Barquin.  This book was awarded the André Simon 2011, the most prestigious award given to wine and gastronomy books in Great Britain.

This award widely evidences the experience of this expert and independent critic with solid criteria.
