A few days ago, the World Association, Wines & Spirits, Writers and Journalists (WAWWJ) made public the list of the best 100 wines in 2013, or in another words, the list of the wines with best scores in the different international competitions in which they took part in 2012.
The role played by Spanish wines in this list has been really good!

Spain could place 13 Spanish wines among the best 100 wines in the world and has therefore become the third country with a highest number of contributions to this list, only preceded by Argentina and Australia.
Among the awarded wines, it is worth highlighting some that we love, such as the extraordinary Rioja wine Luis Cañas Selección de la Familia Reserva 2005, the intense and complex Perelada 5 Fincas 2007, from the DO Empordà, or Ramón Bilbao Mirto 2006, a modern, fresh and juicy wine.
Let’s try them !
