Àvia Lola Rosé Brut Reserva is a rosé cava brut nature produced by the winery Canals & Munné. In is made using Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes used for Àvia Lola Rosé Brut Reserva come from selected vineyards from the denomination of origen.

The climate is temperate and mild, which is ideal for growing grapes, with close presence of the mediterranean sea which in this case serves as a big help.

Once the harvest is carried out, Àvia Lol Rosé Reserva undergoes the vinification process following conventional methods. Before being placed in the market, it rests for at least another 20 months in the bottle. Finally, it is disgorged. 

Canals & Munné is a family winery situated in the Penedès and is one of the most recognised in the D.O Cava, a region with a strong heritage in viticulture.

Winery Canals y Munné

Cava was born under the constant shadow of its French counterpart, Champagne. However, produced over 1,200km away and a gap of over 100 years, Cava was always going to be a completely different product, even if produced using the same method and and sometimes with the same varieties. Firstly the climate and soil have a profound impact on the yields, while the plant strains that thrive here and completely different to those in the Champagne region. Fortunately, as more winemakers are becoming convinced of this, they are producing Cavas with their own personality, showing off the art of the second fermentation in the bottle like no other wine region in the world.
