Characteristics of Amontillado Cuatro Palmas

Fino Cuatro Palmas is, despite its name, a very old amontillado, with an average age of 48 years, from one of the oldest wineries, Tío Pepe.

In December 2014, only 500 half bottles were produced, all from vintage no. 3. With a clear saline character, this Fino Cuatro Palmas is Tio Pepe at its greatest. A world class amontillado.

Sight

It has an intense and bright mahogany colour with brown meniscus.

Nose

High intensity nose. Very concentrated. Notes of hazelnut, cedar, ash, orange peel.

Taste

An overwhelming entrance. A perfect combination of acidity, salt and dried fruit notes. Great freshness, power and length. Amazing.
