Alvear Pedro Ximénez 1927 is a fortified wine made of 100% Pedro Ximénez grapes from the D.O. Montilla-Moriles, made of sun-dried grapes and aged for 5 years in American oak barrels, by means of the traditional solera system (a process of ageing liquids), with regular extractions and sprinklings.
Alcohol: 16.0%

Tasting notes Alvear Pedro Ximénez 1927

Sight Mahogany colour with iodized edges. Clean and bright. Very dense slow-falling tear. Nose Great intensity. Powerful and attractive wine. Roasted notes and reminiscences of pastries and liqueur coffee. Taste Sweet, large and unctuous wine with coffee caramel and cocoa reminiscences on a background of raisins. Extremely long finish.
